Staff Accountant

Priority Courier Experts is looking for a Staff Accountant to serve as an essential supporting function of the accounting team. This position will manage the general accounting function ensuring the accurate compilation, analysis, and reporting of accounting data. The ideal candidate will have a sound technical background in accounting, possess strong communication and analytical skills, and can work independently.


Specific Duties:

  • Perform month-end close procedures including journal entry preparation, reconciliations and related reporting.
  • Assist in preparation and disbursement of monthly financial statements ensuring reliability, integrity, and accuracy.
  • Analyze financial reports and data, trends and costs, revenues, and cash management assuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Assist in the year-end audit process.
  • Support various accounting projects including system / process implementation and enhancements.
  • Maintain system integrity and interface with other systems in financial software applications.
  • Identify need for and make recommendations for process improvements and efficiencies.
  • Prepare internal reports as requested and communicate risks and exposures to management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned and directed by management.

Position Requirements:

  • Four-year Accounting Degree required.
  • 2 - 4 years' experience in an accounting position (public or private).
  • Working knowledge of GAAP and full accounting cycle.
  • Strong computer skills including MS Word, and Excel. NetSuite experience a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
  • Detail oriented with strong time management and organization skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

The expected pay for this role is $60,000 to $75,000 annually.

Customer Service Representative Job Description:

By receiving inbound calls, our CSR team assists customers through the delivery process by entering the data into our system. The CSR opportunity is a fast-paced position that highlights your individual skills to provide exceptional and personalized customer service.

  • Starting wage of $23.00 per hour
